How to store books
Although it is an electronic age, people who really like reading are more inclined to buy books and collect classic books. Because books belong to paper products, they are affected by moisture in the air. They are easy to mildew after a long time.
How to keep books? We can wrap them with self sealing bags. At the same time, put a small package of calcium chloride desiccant in the self sealing bag.
In addition, several bags of calcium chloride desiccant and anti mildew tablets are placed around the bookshelf of the book collection, which can prevent mildew and moth, absorb water vapor in the air and protect the book collection. When the weather is sunny, let the book shine in the sun as much as possible, because the sun can not only evaporate the enzyme moisture in the pages, but also sterilize the ultraviolet rays inside.
Use a dry rag to clean up the dust on the paper as shown in the figure below. On the one hand, the book is moldy because it has absorbed too much moisture and the pages are rotten. On the other hand, it is caused by bacteria falling on the dust in the air. Therefore, it is necessary to remove the dust occasionally.
When reading a book, you should clean your hands and look again. This will reduce the sweat or bacteria on your hands attached to the page, which will cause the page to be mildewed and damaged for a long time. The sweat on the hands attached to the pages will change color easily.
